Southern Maryland Photographer | Josephine’s Lifestyle Newborn Session

Ooh you guys- I just love photographing newborn sessions! There is something so special about being invited into my clients homes, to capture their sweet, squishy newborn babes.

I was so excited when I was asked to photograph Josephine’s lifestyle newborn portraits. Lifestyle newborn sessions are a bit different than traditional posed newborn portraits. These sessions allow me to come hang with the family for a few hours. Then, I capture the quiet, intimate first moments. I photograph the feedings, the snuggles, the babe in their new nursery, their little fingers & toes!

Josephine’s nursery was so beautiful and such a reflection of her parents; her mom is an illustrator and picked out each little detail in her nursery to reflect their careers as well as their love of travel and culture.

I’m so excited to share some of this sweet little girls’ first portraits! Welcome to the world little Josephine.
