Every single time I have someone inquire about a sunrise session, I’m all like “YASS”.
Then the day gets here, and my alarm goes off at 4am and I’m all like “NOOOO, WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF”
However, once again the quiet, empty streets and ethereal lighting proved me that the early wake up was in fact worth it.
I met up with Lexi + Frank this weekend to celebrate their first year of marriage! I was so honored to be able to capture their wedding last May and love that I am able to capture so many milestones after the wedding for my couples!
We met early in downtown Annapolis. Their session was full of snuggles and giggling; they constantly had me laughing. One thing I just LOVE about Lexi and Frank, as well as many of my couples, is that they are legit best friends. These two are so much fun to spend time with!
Sadly, Frank’s dad passed away unexpectedly a few weeks before our session. Frank had his ashes made into a beautiful glass pendant that he wore throughout the session. Lexi and Frank also brought along Miller Light, dad’s favorite beer. They had a toast to him during sunrise on the docks and it was such a beautiful tribute to his life.
I am so thankful to my clients for trusting me time and time again for portraits. I was so excited to celebrate this beautiful couple’s first year anniversary, as well as the life of Frank’s dad.
Happy one year anniversary you two! Can’t wait to watch all the beauty that unfolds in your lives throughout the years.
