Ooh buckle on up because this one is a good one! Katie and I met two years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I was photographing. She hired me for a few sessions afterwards, and we always had SO much fun. One day she invited me out for dollar margaritas at Applebees… and if you know me, I could never turn down that offer. One thing led to another, and now Katie is one of my favorite girlfriends and we still have our monthly Applebees dates.

This couple is one of the absolute sweetest, and when they asked me to photograph their wedding day I was so honored. Not only are they two of the kindest, moving loving couples… but they know how to throw a PAR-TAY. Seriously, their day is going to be one for the books and I’m already counting down to next September.

We met up at Jefferson Patterson Park for some gorgeous fall golden hour goodness. And the weather did not disappoint!  We had so much fun exploring some of the beautiful historic parts of the park. Katie loves all things history and antique, so she was loving the background we chose for her portraits.
