Leonardtown Maryland Portrait Photographer | Celebrating a New Home (& Proposal!) | Peggy + Mason

I have been so excited to share these secret session! Peggy contacted me a few months ago, because she wanted to capture some fun photos announcing that she had purchased a new home with her boyfriend. Mason (said boyfriend!) reached out to ME a few days later sharing something even more exciting- he wanted to propose!

I had been emailing Mason for a few months planning on how we were going to set up the proposal. I came to their beautiful home,  that totally had Joanna Gaine’s vibes (me + Peggy are major style twins!). We spent some time capturing the little details throughout their home, some new fall decor Peggy has purchased and a few fun portraits for their announcement.

As they changed, Mason went to grab the ring. We adventured outside to take advantage of the sunset + the stunning fall foliage in their backyard. I “set up” a pose with Peggy having her back towards Mason; and then lied and said I didn’t like how it looked, go ahead and turn around! Peggy was totally shocked to see Mason on one knee! We ended the afternoon  with a quick little engagement session + some stunning photos of her new bling.

Congratulations to these two incredible people on so many exciting milestones! So happy for you both and hope you enjoy being homeowners- and engaged!
