Southern Maryland In Home Newborn Session

I have so much love for this sweet family. I met Kayla + Cody two years back at Christmas mini sessions I hosted. A few months later she reached out to tell me she was pregnant! They booked my belly to first birthday collection, and it has been so much fun capturing these two for the last year during all the pregnancy milestones.

Miss Emma Jean was born in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, when all non-essential businesses were shut down. We were disappointed in having to reschedule her photos. Thankfully we were able to reschedule them right around her one month milestone!

Kayla + Cody were so creative with Emma’s nursery. I loved all the natural lighting, and the floral touches. My favorite was the black and white portraits from their pregnancy milestone sessions- it is always so exciting seeing your work printed in client’s homes!

So thankful I got to meet this little one- and can’t wait to celebrate all of her first year milestones!
