A Glittery Bachelorette Bash in Southern Maryland

I think we can all agree that COVID-19 has been a real buzzkill for 2020.

So many exciting plans were made for the year, and quickly cancelled. One of the biggest industries affected was the wedding industry; and my heart broke for all of the couples forced to reschedule their celebrations. A super sweet past client of mine reached out, sad she had to forgo her original plan of a crazy bachelorette party celebration. However, she decided to make the best of it. She wanted me to come do a super fun photoshoot with her favorite ladies!

She spent a few weeks renovating an old horse barn on her family property as the perfect indoor bachelorette bash location. The girls started the weekend with spa treatments and a super fun sleepover. I joined them for a few hours to photograph their barn party. Bra pong, confetti, lots of champagne and tons of photo props took over the barn. The girls had so much fun poppin’ bottles and celebrating their favorite bride to be. After their photoshoot, the girls dressed up to go on a little “wine tour” of Southern Maryland. So cute!

Bachelorette parties are SO much fun, and hands down one of my new favorite things to photograph. I love watching my clients get creative and still find ways to make their engagement special. I hope hiring a photographer for a photoshoot with your favorite ladies becomes a new trend!
