Iconic Downtown Charleston SC Anniversary Session

Back in the early summertime, I ventured out to Charleston, South Carolina! A few girlfriends and I hit the road for a fun road trip together and to capture some beautiful portraits in downtown Charleston.

I met up with Melissa + Nick for an early morning session in Downtown Charleston. We started at the iconic Pineapple Fountain downtown, before exploring the colorful streets of downtown. Rainbow Row was also an iconic stop for us, along with the waterfront park.

I am a sucker for the beautiful Spanish moss that grows in the South, so we drove about 20 minutes outside the city to see more of it. I love the way it frames photographs, and adds such a classic southern romantic feel to their portraits. Charleston is such a beautiful city and I would love to come back again for a destination session!
