Rainy Autumn Wedding at Howard County Conservancy

Ally + Mike

Ally + Mike are the definition of soulmates.

These two met at Senior Week in Ocean City, Maryland several years ago. Their love story took place during several trials; they spent time apart at college, with Mike taking care of Ally when she was injured, and ultimately wedding planning during COVID. But love always finds a way.

Then came their wedding day with 100% chance of severe storms in Howard County, Maryland. But these two preserved through everything, and still had a dream wedding. We whipped out the umbrellas and their planning team turned their original garden outdoor wedding plans into a covered ceremony + reception. Their classic burgundy and pale pink color scheme was beautiful; with touches of eucalyptus throughout and sweet homemade jams as favors for guests.

Ally was a radiant bride, and their vows brought everyone to tears during the ceremony. Afterwards guests danced the night away COVID style; with masks on and social distancing throughout the venue hall.

It was a beautiful day and I was so honored to be a part it! It was so beautiful to watch Ally + Mike’s family and friends come together to make their day perfect; despite a worldwide pandemic and county wide threat of storms.
