Elegant Woodlawn Slack Winery Engagement

I met up with these two lovebirds this past week, for a stunning engagement session at their wedding venue! These two chose to get married at the historic Woodlawn Farm Slack Winery. Woodlawn is located down at the very bottom of Maryland, in Ridge, and is a favorite venue of mine! The gorgeous grounds, historic buildings & the waterfront view make this the perfect DC Metro/ Southern Maryland venue.

These two cozied up in the main home, to capture some intimate, lifestyle portraits. I tried some creative approaches to photographing them on the stairs, and loved the emotion and moodiness the black and white photos envoked.

Afterwards, we did a few outfit changes and frolicked around the grounds- enjoying the beautiful golden hour sunset. We created some beautiful portraits of these two, and I cannot wait to capture them at the wedding in October of 2022.
