Beachside Leonardtown Engagement Session

A few months ago, this sweet couple from South Carolina reached out about wedding photography. I knew from the get go we were the perfect match when their initial inquiry talked about their love of the beach & margaritas!

When we met up for their consultation to chat more about the wedding day, we talked for hours. I love building friendships with my couples, and I felt like I had known these forever. Their engagement session was no different- it was like lifelong friends hanging on the beach, even if I was totally third wheeling! 😉

AJ + Caroline are hands down the sweetest couple I have ever met. These two are both teachers at a local high school, and just have the biggest hearts. Their session was so much fun- we frolicked in the water, danced barefoot on the beach, and even got chased by a giant brown recluse spider. But, that’s a story for another time.

I cannot wait to capture these two next spring at their beautiful waterfront resort wedding! If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be full of laughter & beautiful portraits.
