Peter Rabbit Themed Baby Shower

I was so incredibly blessed to be showered last weekend by my friends & family! When I began dreaming up ideas for the shower, I knew I wanted something simplistic and elegant. I drew inspiration from my favorite childhood book, Peter Rabbit.

I didn’t want the theme to feel overwhelming, and wanted to have a laid back and relaxed event. We sprinkled little touches of Peter’s story throughout the party. From a classic stuffed animal, to the traditional book, to the beautiful hydrangea blooms you would see in the English countryside.

One of my favorite little luxuries is a great Charcuterie board, but we couldn’t seem to find a company who wasn’t booked for the date. I got to work by finding various grazing boards and stands, to create height on my table. I chose an assortment of my favorite meats and cheeses. Some of my favorites being a merlot cheese and a tea infused goat cheese spread! We included a few of my pregnancy cravings on the grazing table too. Mostly an assortment of Caprese salad (I can’t get enough tomatoes!) and a little bowl filled with my favorite treat, fruit gushers.

Im gluten free, so I am always so excited to work with my favorite local cottage baker, Bows & Batter. Kayla is so incredibly talented and created the lemon blueberry cake of my dreams. She also baked us the most incredible Piña Colada cupcakes!

I was so thankful for such a laid back, relaxing afternoon celebrating my baby boy with so many loved ones. Scroll to see some of my favorite moments from the party!
